  • Up to the Old Pale – high point of the northern mass of the Mid Cheshire Range (sloping trails where you can view over 7 counties)

  • Oakmere Way – 3.2km which creates a link between Whitegate Way (disused railway line) and Delamere Forest

  • Delamere Loop – 35km circular route following bridleways, minor roads and permissive access.

  • Linmere Trail (green markers) - start at Delamere forest centre - green waymarkers - 1.7miles - 0.5 hours – easy

  • Blakemere Trail (red markers) - start at Delamere forest centre - red waymarkers - 2.7 miles - 1.25 hours – easy

  • Old Pale Trail- (orange markers)-starts at Delamere forest centre- -(1.9miles)- 1.5hours - easy

We accept a minimum of 2 horses per stay – horses need friends too.

Your horse will have a stable and use of a small paddock for grazing directly in front of Lynmere Lodge. We don’t like to see horses kept in the stables all day and night, especially after a long hack, so we encourage them to spend time outside having a roll and groom with their friends.

We offer a bed of shavings on arrival, and 1/4 of a bale of hay per horse for each day. Further hay and shavings are available at extra cost.

All mucking out equipment and water buckets are provided so you just need to bring your feed/feed buckets, hay nets and tack; and of course, your horse and riding hat.

PLEASE NOTE: We ask that you get in touch with us prior to making a booking for horse holidays to ensure the stables are available for your stay.
